The Program Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the counseling function on the units including identifying counseling goals/priorities and providing the leadership necessary for their accomplishment. The Program Manager administratively supervises and develops counseling staff. The Program Manager ensures compliance with agency contractual obligations and operating functions relating to the counseling function.
$65,000+ commensurate upon experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Program Manager screens direct admission referrals for appropriateness and coordinate admissions.
Completes monthly counselor and recovery specialist schedules.
Assists with corrective behavioral meetings and administrative discharges with clients.
Provide shared on call coverage for CSS Unit.
Develops and implements the clinical program.
Reviews Comprehensive Assessments, treatment plans and discharge summary for clinical appropriateness and approval.
The Program Manager provides clinical supervision of counselors.
Interviews, hires, and orients counseling staff.
Prepares counseling staff and drivers schedules.
Supports and encourages staff education and development.
The Program Manager assigns counselor caseloads and schedules client groups.
Acts as liaison with referring agencies when necessary.
Other duties as required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Skills & Experience
Master’s Degree and pursuing licensure.
We will provide free supervision to licensure.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a counselor in the field of substance abuse.
Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience, preferred.
Effective in engaging clients.
Demonstrated administrative and program planning skills.
Commitment to working in the field of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Certification in Addiction Counseling preferred.
Salary: $65,000-$80,000
