The Ivy Street School is a 766 day & residential, year-round, certified special education school for adolescents (co-ed, 13-22 years old). We are currently seeking an experienced LICSW clinician with expertise working with adolescents, young adults and families. Some supervisory experience is required. The Senior Clinician will be working with an array of students with clinically complex needs including but not limited to: High Functioning Autism, ADHD and anxiety & mood-based disorders. The role of Senior Clinician includes supervision of a clinical intern/s in addition to the following job responsibilities: provide individual, group and family therapy to a caseload or 7-9 students, lead weekly clinical team meetings, and provide case management and case consultation/trainings for milieu staff.

Our school is well established, highly regarded and growing. We are seeking candidates who have experience and expertise in working with adolescents/young adults contending with social emotional challenges. Experience supervising clinical staff is highly valued. Experience working in residential or similar settings preferred.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. There is potential for flexibility in specific weekly hours.

Working knowledge and experience of adolescent development/family system clinical issues required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort with public speaking/speaking in a group setting is necessary.

This is an LICSW position. However, we are accepting applications for candidates eligible for their LICSW within next 3-4 months who have significant experience working in residential and/or therapeutic day school settings. 

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
